Northwest-116 190 #4044

$1,099.00 CAD

Designed as one ski quiver, the Northwest came from Prior Athlete and staff demands for a do-it all ski. A versatile waist width allows the Northwest to rip a turn, float in the powder and remain playful in all conditions. The NW116 is on the powder end of the scale, for those who tend to regularly ride powder on their one-ski that does it all.

From charging cliffs to throwing down in the Black Park, the Northwest is our staff pick for a single ski in BC conditions. Build in carbon to save weight, or quad-glass to instill confidence and a buttery smooth ride.

The flex pattern of the northwest is progressive, meaning that a playful tip and tail blends with a stiff underfoot platform. This creates a playful yet stable ski that can handle anything you throw at it. A long effective edge, and a large radius means that the NW will respond exceptionally at high speed. The softer tip and tail combined with a hybrid rocker profile allows the ski to release when needed and remain nimble in tight terrain. The NW116 is designed for those who prefer to ride a more powder orientated ski as their everyday charger.

Tech & Features

The flex pattern of the northwest is progressive, meaning that a playful tip and tail blends with a stiff underfoot platform. This creates a playful yet stable ski that can handle anything you throw at it. A long effective edge, and a radius of 23m means that the NW will respond exceptionally at high speed. The softer tip and tail combined with a hybrid rocker profile allows the ski to release when needed and remain nimble in tight terrain.

Designed to be versatile, the NW116 is designed to be the perfect ski for resort rippers that want to have a more powder-orientated everyday ski. The generous 116mm underfoot platform really excels in deep snow, allows for a surfy ride and is stable in damp coastal concrete through to interior BC blower pow. The NW116 uses the same design principles as its smaller alternatives, the NW100 & NW110 keeping it just as versatile, but more suited to those who prefer a large base underfoot.
